As an IMG who’s only recently started working in the UK, I came into the preparation course at Royal London knowing very little about the exam and how to structure my answers. I felt overwhelmed and kind of foolish that day. I am so glad that you mentioned PaedsPrep. I started using Paedsprep at the start of my revision for the clinicals and it helped me greatly in bringing together what I had prepared and helped with structure. Also, I listened to the audios multiple times and that really drove in the key points like intro, summarizing etc which has helped me greatly.

Preparing for the clinical exams can be really mentally straining for IMGs who do not understand the British system especially for communication scenarios. PaedsPrep helped me to put a structure to this and understand the important points to cover, while managing time effectively. I had the communication stations on repeat as it covered a whole range of possible questions that could be encountered in the exams. Overall, it definitely helped me feel more confident approaching the communication stations.
