In my time working towards the final step of the MRCPCH accreditation, I was able to collate some valuable resources that helped me get through this final exam milestone. I’m hoping that some of this material will be useful to you in your own practice!
My experience of the MRCPCH clinicals exam was overall a very positive one! I’d initially intended to sit the hybrid ‘in-person, no patient’ exam in June 2022, but got COVID a week before from an unsuspecting neonate. At the time, this felt like a big setback having to change course to prepare for the ‘in person, with patients’ format when eventually took the exam Feb 2023. Turns out, the many months of revision culminated in some useful notes and practice material which I want to share with you all! I remember spending a fair bit of time organizing myself at the start of the exam study process, trying to get a feel of the timelines involved and gathering useful materials from my seniors.
