About the Founder

PaedsPrep was founded by Dr. Maithili Raju, a London-based Paediatric Specialty Trainee. She successfully passed the MRCPCH Clinical examination in February 2023, with a score of 80/82.

She currently sits on faculty for the MRCPCH Clinicals Revision Course at The Royal London Hospital, and over the past three years, has delivered more than 100 hours of focused, in-person MRCPCH teaching. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education with distinction from University of Warwick (2025).
PaedsPrep was born from her passion for supporting fellow trainees—sharing her experience, strategies, and resources to help others successfully navigate this challenging milestone and step into registrar-level clinical practice with confidence.

About PaedsPrep

Preparing for the MRCPCH Clinical examination can feel overwhelming. With numerous stations to master, limited access to affordable practical resources, and the challenge of developing an effective exam approach alongside full-time clinical work, many paediatric trainees find it difficult to translate their knowledge into strong exam performance.

PaedsPrep was created to address this gap.
By focusing on high-yield, exam-style scenarios supported by audio guidance, PaedsPrep helps trainees build the structure, confidence, and clinical reasoning needed to succeed in real exam stations. The resources are the result of months of dedicated preparation, covering both COVID-era virtual formats and traditional in-person clinical exams.
Designed to be practical and accessible, PaedsPrep enables you to hit the ground running and make the most of your revision time.

CREDITS: Massive thank you to my amazing study buddies who got me through the exam and let me use audios featuring their lovely voices on this website Dr. Helena Jones, Dr. Emma Alexander, Dr. Mahreen Sohail, Dr. Dharini Chandrasekaran, Dr. Bharka Manwani, Dr. Sarah McLoughlin, Dr. Rosie Balfour-Lynn & Dr. Janki Patel.

DISCLAIMER: The information on this website is meant to provide an overview of the approach to each station, with some scenarios to help guide revision. It does not replace the official exam resources provided by the RCPCH, established guidelines like NICE or textbooks which might provide you with a more in depth understanding of the pathophysiology of pediatric conditions.

The recordings/examples provided are from my own revision sessions – they’re not intended to be examples of a ‘perfect’ station by any means. Hopefully just an idea of the timings, content that needs to be covered and perhaps an example of one way it can be approached.
None of the scenarios on this website are recordings from real patient interactions and any resemblance to real patients/situations is purely coincidental.
